Aachen, 12.09.2018. To show entrepreneurs which interesting and excellent companies are situated in the HYPEREGIO and also to promote cross-border cooperations , today the next “EarlyBirds Technology Breakfast” took place at indurad in Aachen. Almost 30 participants came to take a look behind the scenes of the company und to get to know each other.  Artificial Intelligence and Web Chat Bots were also  interesting topics.

Biotech Job-Expedition in Aachen

Aachen 21.6.2018, a group of 26 jobseekers from walloon education center FOREM visited FZ Juelich research center and two german companies in biotechnology.
Our goal with this jobexpedition format is to improve the access of the expertise and technologies existing in resarch centers accross Euregio borders. The 26 high profile jobseekers from FOREM  center surely benefited from this new type of networking.

EarlyBirds Technology Breakfast in Aachen

Their patented and award-winning “cleanroom-to-go” (Sphairlab) could also be visited. Mark Swinnen from Sirris Smart Coating Application Lab in Diepenbeek, Belgium, spoke about new innovative coating solutions. Innovation2Market Aerospace 4.0

Great success for our B2B matchmaking event on April 17th in Liège. Some 140 professionals attended OEM conferences, matchmaking sessions and workshops related to industry 4.0 in the aerospace sector. 

This Aerospace Day was an application-oriented and technology-focused event for professionals only. The objective was stimulating B2B-collaboration across borders between technologically innovative companies and/or research centers. Next step, building consortia!

Numerous companies were guests at the kick-off event on 23 March in Herve to be informed about the offers in the HYPEREGIO. “We offer companies very concrete, tailor-made support services to help them find the right partners in business, universities and research across regional borders,” explained Dr. Lothar Mahnke, Managing Director of AGIT. The programme also included visits to CELABOR (Food, Research Center), ISSOL (Energy, Building) and VINVENTIONS (Chemicals, Materials).

Voucher Premiere in Blankenheim

The first B2S Voucher with a grant of 3,000 Euros was awarded within EarlyTech! High-tech ceram Dr. Steinmann und Partner GmbH from Blankenheim, Aachen region (D), is pleased to have been selected. The SME will work with the Sirris Collective Centre for Technological Industrial Ceramics in Liège (B) to promote the production of high-quality ceramics using 3D printing.
